Community Pizza Party and CAST Above The Influence Kick Off

On January 9, 2016 at Captain Isaac Paine School, SMCT and CAST will partner to kick off the Above the Influence Campaign for 2016. There will be a pizza party, lots of fun and games, skits from SMCT and a group from Ponaganset, Videos, opportunity for CAST to share their Message, and information about a skit contest with $500 in prizes! Everyone 11 and older is invited!

Bob Hollis is looking for a small group (4-5 people) who want to present a skit and another group (3-4 people) who would like to record (sound, lights, recording), edit, and report on the events of and reactions to the evening. If you are interested, please contact Bob Hollis at (401) 440-7831 or email hidden; JavaScript is required as soon as possible.

Foster Follies

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 10, at 7 pm, Foster Country Club, Foster (Bar & Restaurant will be open) will come alive with local talent as SMCT presents the 2015 Foster Follies. With emcees Bob Hollis and Gabby Dworkin, you’ll enjoy music, magic, jokes and skits, and a sneak peek at a tune from our upcoming Little Shop of Horrors. All this is yours for one low price ($15 adults; $10 student/senior; $50 family max). After the show, you’ll enjoy the music of Seventh Constellation.

Auditions for Foster Idol and Creative Memories Junior Idol

Auditions for Foster Idol and Creative Memories Junior Idol will be held at The Foster Town House on Friday July 12 from 5-9pm and on Saturday, July 13 from 4-8pm.

Contestants 16 and older must audition for Foster Idol. Those 15 and younger may audition for either Foster Idol or The Creative Memories Junior Idol Competition.

Each competitor must audition with one song. Contestants can bring their own accompaniment, sing from a cd or mp3, or may sing a capella.

(If you are chosen for the competition, you will need three songs with Karaoke Accompaniment or your own accompaniment.)
